My Profile
Has a Bsc Biochemistry from Bayero University Kano, Nigéria and Masters degree in Biochemistry from Universidade Federal do Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil. He started his carieer as a Chemistry Instructor in Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel, Nigeria in 2001. Between 2002 and 2007, he worked as a Research Scientist in Jigawa Research Institute, Kazaure, where he headed the Biotechnology Unit of the Institute after a training in plant tissue culture and genetic transaformtion in the Laboratory of Professor Francisco Campos of Universidade Federal do Ceara, Fortaleza in 2003. He returned to Brazil in 2005 to pursue a Master degree under the Brazilian Fellowship Program known as PEC-PG, which was sponsored by CAPES. He is presently on a PhD fellowship in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Universidade de Brasilia, Brazil as a scholar of CNPq.
