The management of Kashim Ibrahim Library has Acquired Some Inverters for the Library Complex, this is to assist
in the area
of power supply within the Library .

THE PROPOSED AGENDA FOR MORTENSON CENTER VISIT TO A.B.U. 15th AND 16th MARCH 2010.
The VTLS DVD Session is open to all staff. But the training sessions with faisal Gali are open to systems people and interested members of the project management team.
Monday, March 15
Meeting with project Management team.
Faisal Gali will talk about server management, Virtua management, VTLS basic Operations, task scheduling, system
back up, system fine-tuning, miscellaneous.
Susan and David, meet wit University Librarian, catalogers, and candidates to Mortenton Center, and will test the equipment for general session . VTLS DVD on VTLS 2009.3 highlights – this session is open to all .

WORKSHOP ON DIGITIZATION AND INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORIES
25th-27th JANUARY, 2010.
Kashim Ibrahim Library, Ahmadu Bello University, is holding a three day in- house training workshop for its staff on institutional repositories to acquaint them with the library digitization work. Some of the topics to be discussed are... Digitization 101, GreinStone, Dspace, etc.

Etcetera Art Exhibition in Kashim Ibrahim Library
The etcetera-mixmedia art exhibition by Iorver Ikeshi, Charles Achibi and Lasisi Lamidi was formerly opened to the general public on Wednesday 12th November, 2008, by Professor J. B. Kaltho, Dean, Faculty of Environmental Design, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The Curator is Mr. Gambo Duniya.

J.F.KENNEDY LIBRARY BURNT
Routine Maintenance and general repair work on the roof of the president Kennedy library of Congo campus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria..Resulted into an inferno that gutted priceless books, computers and archival materials worth millions of naira on Monday, 3rd November, 2008, at about 10am in the morning.The library was established in 1964 and named after former U.S. president Kennedy
