The
DATAD initiative has two key goals: |
|
a) Creating capacity in African
Universities for the collection management and
dissemination of theses and dissertations (TXDS) electronically and
providing visibility through improving access to the work
of African Scholars in and outside the continent. |

b) The search facility for the DATAD
database provides simple but very powerful and
effective searching. The facility offers standard searching for
words in the fields for author, title, degree,
supervisor, university and department, year of submission,
keywords, abstract and record ID. |
