Training
head, systems developmentProfessional Certificate in Computer Application Packages, a 3 months training programme that brings together participation from the very highly intelligent (e.g. University professors) to the secondary school leaver into one class to introduce the subject of the digital culture, how to learn about it and use particularly within the knowledge economy.  Because of heavy pressure from the society (both within and outside the country), the programme is administered in three batches between January to December every year.

Statistical Information Design and the analysis of Information Systems.  This programme is normally run for Researchers and Business executives within a maximum time frame of 4 weeks.

Proficiency course in Computer Application programming is a programme designed to introduce participants to programming skills for the purpose of writing software routines that are unique to the local problem.  The course runs for 3 months and is open to persons with a minimum qualification of a recognized Diploma within the Nigeria educational policy.

AUTOCAD training programme is primarily designed for practicing engineers, architects, surveyors and scientists and also for students whose work may benefit from the use of the package.  Training is within a maximum time frame of 4 weeks.

Research
A plan for introducing the computing technology to primary school teachers in the 19 Northern states of Nigeria intended towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

Referring to efforts at ECOWAS regional integration: the creation of sectoral databanks for use in the development of agriculture and trade within the sub-region (e.g. in the Wet lands of Northern Nigeria).

We are also working on the adoption of numerical and symbolic modeling in Education.
