Offices
The Director, Secretary, Accountant and most academic staff offices are located in the Hospital block. Due to inadequate office space however, some staff occupy departmental offices in the Phase II block.
Laboratories
Although the hospital does not have laboratories of its own, some research laboratories serving the hospital are located within the hospital block.
Clinic rooms and facilities are largely shared with the Veterinary Surgery and Medicine department (DVSM). These include:
- Sterilization room: one is available and a shared facility with the department of Veterinary Surgery and Medicine (DVSM).
- Pharmacy: one is available and specific to VTH.
- Large Animal Clinic: one is available and a shared facility with DVSM.
- Large Animal Surgery: One is available and a shared facility with DVSM.
- X-ray room: one is available and is a shared facility with DVSM.
- Dark room: one is available and is a shared facility with DVSM.
- Small Animal Clinic: 2 clinic rooms and a waiting room are shared between the DVSM and VTH.
- Small Animal Surgery: one is available and specific to VTH.
- Small Animal Kitchen: one is available: and is a shared facility with DVSM.
- Dog Runs: 12 are available and are shared facilities with DVSM.
- Animal hospitalization room: One is available and shared facility with DVSM.
- Reception one is available and is specific to the VTH.
- Kennel Examination Room: one is available and shared facility with DVSM.
