Faculty of Law

Departments

The Faculty of Law which was established in 1962 now has four Departments as follows:

  • Department of Commercial Law                                     
  • Department of Private Law                                                         
  • Department of Islamic Law                                             
  • Department of Public Law
  •                                               
Academic Programmes and Degrees Awarded

The Faculty runs the LL.B. (Civil Law) and LL.B (Shariah Law) degree programmes that cut across all the four departments. Each Department however, runs postgraduate Diploma programmes in their field of specialization.
