Appeal to Stakeholders

    This is a special message to ABU Alumni, Philanthropies, Corporate Bodies, Staff, Students, Media & all Stakeholders in education: Donate generously to create greater value!!

    Along with the continuous growth and well-received expansion of Ahmadu Bello University comes the challenge of developing sufficient resource to support and sustain the University's progressive drive for excellence. This challenge is even made more tasking when the Federal Government of Nigeria implored all her Universities to generate at least 25% of their funding needs. These among others, led to the establishment of the “Development Office (alias Planning and Resource Mobilization Unit)” in Ahmadu Bello University to contain the situation.

   The University needs funding to support its long-term development. This include the further advancement of its basic infrastructures, state of art equipments, professional and continuing education activities as well as meeting the needs of the Country and the entire World in general.

   The Development Office realizes that total success in the art of resource mobilization for the University’s development can best be attained with the aid of the magnanimous support of our great and esteem Alumni. It is in the light of the foregoing that we formally write to introduce to you the ABU DEVELOPMENT OFFICE. A unit under the Office and tutelage of the Vice Chancellor and founded to coordinate and raise funds for the overall development of the University.

   A contribution to ABU is therefore a direct contribution to the long-term prospects and development of Nigeria. Special projects are in place to help you contribute to the University. Contact us and we will assist you to decide on an approach that suits you well and benefits the University the way you most wish to.

Just click "Donation Forms" on the menu left of this page, to go to the donation forms page, where you can select the kind of form (either Staff or Individual / Corporate Donation) to fill.

    You may wish to pledge an amount over a period of several months or years, or you may wish to make a lump-sum donation. Please feel free to pick the option you are most comfortable with, and accept our big "Thank You" on behalf of the University.
