Mission

The mission of the Department of Soil Science is “to advance the frontiers of knowledge of soil and the environment through teaching, research and publication of the highest quality; and to promote the conservation of soil, water and other natural resources for sustainable agriculture and healthy environment for human and animal’s in the 21st century”.

It’s vision is “to offer the best quality training and education to students to be able to use knowledge from basic sciences to proffer solutions to agricultural, soil and environmental problems”.
