Ahmadu Bello University had the potential to join the ranks of the major research Institutions in the World, and it is right that the Nigerian economy and beyond, should benefit from the top class training and research capabilities of such a University.

    Ahmadu Bello University is gaining an increasingly strong International reputation for the high quality of its research and teaching, amidst dwindling Government financial support. It is the realization of this that the Development Office was set out to mobilize resources to complement the Government inadequate funding in order to sustain its progressive drive to excellence.

    We have just a cause for some celebration, but there is no complacency. Everyone concerned can be assured that we will continue to improve. There remains further potentials at Ahmadu Bello University and we shall be doing all that is necessary to unlock it.
