Admission Requirements

A.Undergraduate:

Admission into the five– year degree programme is done through the U.M.E. with a minimum of 5 credits from recognized examination bodies (SSCE, NECO) at the senior school certificate (SSC) level in arts and social sciences subjects which must include English Language and English literature for LL.B (Civil) and English and Islamic Studies/Arabic for LL.B (Sharia).

Admission into the four – year degree programme is done through JAMB Direct Entry with a minimum of 10 points in IJMB & GCE ‘A’ Level or with at least merit in Diploma in Law obtained from the Faculty or Centre for Islamic Legal Studies.

B. Postgraduate:

An honours degree of Ahmadu Bello University or any other recognized University or H.N.D in relevant areas.

A First Class or Second Class Upper or Lower Division degree in Law (LL.B) from Ahmadu Bello University or any other recognized University

An LL.M degree from Ahmadu Bello University or any other recognized University
