Other Health Services Units

1.   The Medical Records Unit:

As at now, the office has three (3) trained Record staff, two (2) Chief Clerical Officers, one (1) Senior Clerical and a Clerical Officer with four (4) Attendants and casual labourer operating in the office. The total staff now in post are Twelve (12) in number.

2.   Preventive and Sanitation Unit:

This section is headed by Assistant Chief Health Officer. It has six Environmental Health Officers and 39 supporting staff (60% of the staffers are weak as a result of ageing) and 700 casual labourers. There are various teams such as refuse collectors, street sweepers, ground men, scavengers, lawn maintainers, landscapers etc. There are 13 old refuse trucks/ tractors.

3.   Parks and Gardens Unit:

There are two subsections: one such subsection with over ten (10) parks are overseen by a Senior Technical Officer with 28 additional supporting junior technical staff and 26 casual labourers. He is however late recently.

Mrs. Andrea Egler also on contract, employed recently, heads the second subsection, the flower gardens with 50 casual labourers.

4.   The Forest Guard Unit:

It is headed by a principal security officer and has sixteen permanent staff and 36 casual workers.

5.   The Store Unit:

Two store officers oversee the section.
