Medical Officers/Doctors

The Medical Officers/Doctors  (Main Campus)

These are basically medical personnel in their various fields of specialties who carry out consultations on minor and other major ailments and made referrals where the need arises.

In the main sickbay there are six permanent medical officers with three having masters in public health and one is on study leave.

Experienced Doctors are now retained in the system with the current advanced training policy. The unit is no longer a mere transit camp for doctors. There are also medical practitioners from pre-clinical departments of the faculty of medicine performing call duties.
