The University Senate at its 418th meeting held on Thursday 18th December, 2008 approved Monday 2nd March, 2009 as the commencement date for the 2008/2009 Academic Year. Registration for newly admitted students (undergraduate and postgraduate) as well as returning undergraduate and postgraduate students will end on Saturday 7th March, 2009. Lectures will commence on Monday 9th March, 2009.
In order to avoid rush and congestion at the portal during registration, the portal will be opened as from Monday 12th January, 2009 for students (new and returning) to start registration. Admission letters will be ready for collection at the Dean of the Faculties’ offices where the candidates are admitted as from 12th January, 2009.
List of successful candidates provisionally admitted into the University for the 2008/09 academic session (UME and DE) has been released. Admission list is available here and at the following Notice Boards of the following locations:
- Notice Board at the Main Gate of the Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria
- Notice Board at the Security Division, Main Campus; and
- Kongo Campus, Institute of Administration.
The general public is hereby informed that JAMB closed the admission exercise for the 2008/2009 session. This admission list is, therefore, final.
